Prayer requests

I was going to do a Christy update after being there the past two days, but Lori summed things up pretty well. However, after spending so much time with Christy and watching her come through surgery - I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time praying over her and this situation. Here are some requests that you could join us in praying for:

~ Peace in Christy's mind and God's timing in healing her memory and allowing her to absorb this whole crisis. She is definitely confused as she tries to retain new info and process it. That is another reasong it's good for her to have few visitors and the same few people staying with her and helping - to cut down on the confussion.

~ For a speedy recovery from her pelvic surgery. And for peace in her mind as she thinks about the coming months and how that is going to work out.

~ For God to hold Karen in His hand and for her to continue making improvements.

~ For supernatural peace to flood Duanne's heart and mind as he thinks about the accident from the perspective of being the driver.

~ For Mac to begin the path to total and complete recovery.

~ And for Dustin to be able to keep going, to be able to rest well at night and to let the Lord be his strength.

Thank you to all who are praying. How amazing it is to see God's hand in all of this. There were spcific prayers lifted up for Christy's surgery and recovery and for the pain caused by the chest tube. Both were answered she handled surgery amd recovery beautifully and is SO much more comfortable now that her chest tube is out. The pain from that left not long after they pulled it out (which was VERY painful!) And she was able to use her lungs more powerfully as well.
