Updates

Karen is back in the ICU so they can monitor her breathing just in case she needs more attention. The surgery is off for today and probably will happen on Monday. The docs are going to look in her throat to see if there is a blockage.

Mac had her MRI today and the docs have scheduled surgery for next Wednesday to have the brain shunt put in. The docs will give her another try next Tuesday to see how she is doing to possibly cancel the surgery. Please pray that God will heal the ventricles to allow them to drain properly. Also, please pray that she does not have a blood clot in her lower right leg. She is having some temperature issues in the shin and will need to have that looked at. She is still breathing well - praise God. She also had a good work out today with PT. We got her sitting up in a chair and she used her arms to balance herself on the bed and she used her legs to push up with assistance to get in the chair. Great job, Kenna!!!

Christy had a doctor visit today and found out that her weight bearing leg is actually fractured and now has an air cast on it. She says that it feels much better with the cast on. Christy, Lori, and Lisa came by to see Mac today for the first time and it was good for them to see her sitting up and working so hard.
