update

Dustin is planning to post as soon as he can!
But in the meantime- here is a quick update:

Christy had pelvic bone stabilization surgery today. They put screws in to help her heal faster and less painfully. She is doing well post-op with the pain meds and is in good spirits tonight.

Mckenna is stable and still heavily sedated. Her MRI looked good last night. She is doing really well and needs more time in sedation to let her brain rest and heal. Her lungs are also doing better every day! She is on a ventilator to help her lungs but her lungs are doing some of the work on their own- that's good!

Karen is very bruised and has a lot of broken bones. She will head for surgery at a later date. She is stable and looked good today when I visited her. She is on a ventilator because she has had serious lung injuries. Duane was in good spirits. Karen has a long road of recovery ahead of her, but she is stable and her Doctors feel she will fully recover! She'll need lots of encouragement and love...
